AIRPORT / STEENBERG GOLF ESTATE - Four Nights:
Cape Town is without doubt one of the most beautiful destinations in
the world. Blending the old with the new, it has a relaxed, almost continental
atmosphere. The influence of early Dutch settlers in 1652, Malay slaves
and British rulers has created a rich tapestry of culture not found
anywhere else.
The 5 star graded Steenberg Country Hotel is situated
on the Cape's oldest wine farm, a mere twenty-minute drive from the
bustling heart of Cape Town. The hotel, which has twenty-four rooms,
nestles in the tranquil Constantia Valley, against the slopes of the
Steenberg Mountain, offering sweeping views over False Bay. Set amongst
a working wine farm with breathtaking scenery, the estate boasts its
own world-renowned working winery, which produces a selection of award
winning fine wines. Well-marked walks in the area take the rambler through
spectacular forests, over ravines and through beautiful botanical gardens.
The Steenberg Estate is also home to an 18-hole Championship Golf Course.

STEENBERG GOLF ESTATE / ARABELLA (OVERBERG) - Three nights:
The most southerly region in Africa, east of the city of Cape Town
is a fertile area surrounded by mountains and sea. The Overberg is the
Cape's most jealously guarded secret, a region so rich in resources;
its pleasures are boundless.
The Overberg coast, also known as the 'Whale Coast',
has the distinction of splitting the oceans. At Cape Agulhas, the southernmost
tip of the continent, the waters are cleaved into the Atlantic and Indian
Oceans. Rimmed by these two great oceans, it's a playground for all
the inhabitants of the earth and sea, a nursery of the great Southern
Right whale and a garden of delight, from its rare floral kingdom, to
the fields of grain and orchards of fruit.
Nearby, Hermanus, a seaside resort, famous for its champagne
air and offering the best land-based whale watching in the world is
only 120km from Cape Town. Originally a fishing village, Hermanus is
now a cosmopolitan town offering a wide variety of attractions. A haven
for nature lovers, Hermanus boasts 14km of cliff walks and over 40km
of invigorating walks in the Fernkloof Nature Reserve and pristine beaches.
The exclusive Western Hotel and Spa boasts a grand championship
golf course and is situated on the Arabella Country Estate next to Southern
Africa's largest and most beautiful lagoon. Only a short drive from
the celebrated whale haven of Hermanus, the cosmopolitan city of Cape
Town, Cape Agulhas- the southern most tip of Africa - the Cape wine
route and the renowned Blaauwklippen Wine Farm, makes this location
unique.
Guests are accommodated in 145 rooms; all with views of the golf course,
mountains or water views. All of the spacious rooms or suites are well
appointed with air-conditioning and balconies.

ARABELLA / STELLENBOSCH (WINELANDS) - Three nights:
The Winelands of South Africa have been described as
the most beautiful and scenic in the World, and is a true 365 days a
year destination. Spring's beautiful still days are ideal for a hot
air balloon ride, for taking long walks in the regions vineyards or
attending one of the annual festivals at Stellenbosch
or Franschhoek.
Stellenbosch, the oldest town in the country after Cape
Town, is undoubtedly the most scenic and historically preserved town
in Southern Africa. Oak-lined streets next to water furrows compliment
the many fine examples of elegant Cape Dutch, Victorian and Georgian
architecture - all part of this unique "Town of Oaks".
Franschhoek was originally known as 'Olifants Hoek',
after elephants took to calving in the sheltered valley. Between 1688
and 1690 land was apportioned to 200 Huguenots fleeing persecution in
France. Finding the climate similar to that of France, the settlers
planted vines. Today, 20 members of the Vignerons produce wines consumed
throughout the world.
Situated in the heart of the world-renowned Cape Stellenbosch
Winelands, on the Southern tip of Africa, Spier
is undoubtedly the most unique Winelands development in the world. An
enchanting venue overseen by a team dedicated to giving guests an unrivalled
experience of 'unexpected pleasures'.
The Village at Spier - a 155-bed hotel on the estate
just outside Stellenbosch in the heart of the world-renowned Cape Winelands
- is only 15 minutes from the beaches of Gordon's Bay and the Strand
and a quick 30-minute drive from central Cape Town.
