The Fancourt
South Africa's premier golfing and leisure resort is situated in
the heart of the Garden Route. Set in 515 hectares of lush countryside,
superbly landscaped with the majestic Outeniqua Mountains as its
backdrop, Fancourt is only 7 kilometres from both the George Airport
and the historic town of George. It is also within easy reach of
the many attractive tourist destinations in the area. Three of the
four 18-hole Gary Player designed golf courses are rated in the
Top 10 in South Africa. They include, the Montagu,
Outeniqua and The
Links, Home of the Presidents Cup 2003. Bramble
Hill, the newest course is a public facility.

golf shops and a Golf Academy with full time teaching professionals
and a 4-hole playing course.
For the non-golfer, outdoor pursuits include tennis courts, lawn
bowls, croquet, outdoor and indoor swimming pools and running/walking
trails. Mountain biking, picnics, horse riding and walks can be
arranged on request. Open sea bathing and glorious beaches are within
