Course Description:
The Steenberg course meanders through the vineyards of South Africa's oldest wine farm. It has a deserved reputation of having the best greens in Cape Town and plays off no less than five tees; ensuring that the course can be enjoyed by all levels of players.Designed by the renowned architect Peter Malkovich the course nestles under the Constantia mountains in the Constantia valley. Some of the features of Steenberg are its large waste bunkers, running creeks, water hazards and excellent greens. The setting adds to the attraction of the course, providing glorious views of the vineyards, bush and mountain flora.

  • Appropriate golf attire required.
  • No Handicap Required Unless Entering Competition.
  • Soft spikes required on golf course.
  • Appropriate golf clothing only. No collarless shirts, rugby type shorts, golf shoes with metal studs, tennis or running shoes (except juniors and players with a medical certificate)
  • Use of cellular/mobile telephones is not permitted in the Clubhouse or on the course. Calls can be made/received in the locker rooms or car park.
